Tahir ul Qadri Whats Next?

Watching the current scenario when there is long march going on in the country after the Balochistan crisis. The government must be thinking what to do and how to handle this mass, going all against them.
I watched some of the media reporters talking to the crowd, people don't even know what will be the next step, until they are given some instructions by their leader and what should be the next step what he says they will do. For me its very alarming that how can a person come without any plan but a "hidden agenda" in his mind and not telling his followers. Its just the one man show, if you want to be a part of democracy or to bring the real democracy then you should start it from yourself. As there is a lot of ambiguity in the overall demands. If for some time we leave it too, in my opinion when you have the people's power (as he says) you should not only tell us our problems but also give some solutions. Solutions are not even the part of his speeches but just demanding the "unconstitutional" things sitting in the bullet proof bunker "ready to die first".
Leave everything, what are the solutions to these problems? Whats Next? Nobody knows.

Nasty politics of anchors

Simplicity at its best - Beauty of Kashmir

Watching something on TV/Internet or listening from someone can’t be compared to what you have experience. My experience of travelling to Sharda was full of fun, but I was amused to see the simplicity there. I love interacting with the people of different cultures and traditions. Travelling is always fun but when you are doing it with friends, it’s the best part! This experience also gives more energy to me to travel and watch the world’s different perspective apart from the media’s eye.

Sharda is very beautiful place. People here are very simple and they brought more beauty to the place they live in. Sharda is at LOC (Line of Control- border between Pakistan and India). At LOC your patriotism really increases. Watching the flag of Pakistan and the posts of army is amazing here and it brings a different view of the armed forces. They are defending us day and night at the borders. Salute to the Pakistani armed forces.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city is very soothing. Houses here are all made of wood. They add extreme beauty to the place.

Children waving you from the road side and welcoming you, it is actually their hospitality and is good. When taking photographs the smiling faces of the children was a good experience. It feels like the life here is moving too slow as compared to the big cities because of no development here, but still the people here are using the latest energy technology that is the solar energy.

In the picture, children playing at the river side. Outside the educational institute at Dodoudnial children were playing cricket.
When returning back to Keran Valley an old man waved to the bus in which we were travelling so the driver stopped the bus and we gave him the ride. I interviewed him. His name was Haji Wali-ur-Rehman. He got his education from Kakul, Abbottabd (it is my home town too). I took his picture and promised him that I will publish it in my blog.

The most astonishing thing for me was watching Edhi ambulance at this much backward area. Edhi Foundation is a non-profit social welfare program in Pakistan founded by Abdul Sattar Edhi. Edhi organization is the largest voluntary ambulance organization of the world as per Guinness World Record Book. Hats off to the great personality Abdul Sattar Edhi for serving the humanity.

Returning back to home at the last day form Keran a bunch of people were protesting for their rights. My friends took their pictures and they thought that my friends are from Press/Media. So here are some of their photos took by Azam Khan. Empowering people gives them the confidence to work more efficiently for the nation. I wish the people protesting for their rights, get what they want.

Kashmir is really beautiful but one thing I noticed that there were a few tourist rest houses but still satisfied as there is a tourist motel in Keran and also in Sharda. Need more development there for more tourism. Tourism will develop the area but for that the government should take initiative.
Travelling to Kashmir was unforgettable and simplicity was stunning.

Opposition for Opposition

What should be the real role of opposition? Who is the opposition now in Pakistan? Is opposition checking the government and the policies which will matter in the future? These are some of the questions that need to be answered.

The role of opposition is very important in the country’s political and social affairs. In the world the opposition checks the government and forms a shadow cabinet to discuss the policies and making them friendlier for the people of the country. Role of opposition is not just to curse the government but also to make policies with the govt. for the betterment of the people.

Opposition here in Pakistan only curse the govt. and repeatedly say that they can’t do anything (well the government and its allies are also saying this for over 4 years). Talking about the opposition present in the parliament, they just show they are opposition on the TV shows; they don’t have any future plans. Here in Pakistan the opposition always destabilizes the country by protesting against non issues and not speaking on the real issues. Do they have a better plan than this government, if yes than are they waiting for their turn? Why to wait for your turn, just to loot the country like the present government is doing.

Are memo gate, Prime minister’s not obeying the Supreme court order, Mehran gate and these type of blunders do actually have a link with the lay man? They do have a link in the long run but should we wait for their result for next five decades? Why the opposition not talking on the issues like energy crisis, education, foreign policy, security & health etc and giving the solutions? They are just playing the dirty politics or the mud slugging with government. In ruining the country both the government and opposition are responsible!

There is no culture or trend to discuss the basic problems facing by the people, accepting that the politics is important for running the country but it’s not necessary to always just degrade the opponent on the media. Our opposition needs some opposition too.  To change the culture vote but not as you voted earlier, vote for change and also be aware of what the hell is opposition doing?

Education is solution

Education means the sense of using knowledge to its best. It is not just being literate and the brain full of information in a raw form. Education is the knowledge and information that make some productive material and make our mind do the right thing.
A country passing through the real crisis like economy crunch, terrorism, social and political instability and where the law enforcement is a big issue needs education. We always heard that Pakistan is going through a very tough and critical phase from our birth, till now. But where’s the solution for the betterment and development?
Looking at the history we came to know that we didn’t have the same education for all the classes/casts. Difference in the education system is the main cause of the entire problem. Elite class having different education like O, A levels, and upper middle class may go to the private institutions for the education, and the lower middle class depends on the government schooling system. People who are below the poverty line don’t even think to go to the school. Running side by side the “Madrassa system” doesn’t gives the use of the technology, later on, those students suffers. Free education is just the slogan of the political parties and that free education is just literacy not the “education”.

In constitution of Pakistan, a literate is a person who can write a simple letter in any language and read newspaper! And then we have a country with 55% of this literacy rate. I wonder if government changes the definition of literate person to that who passes the primary education, this literacy rate will drop further. And what if they change it to the secondary education? Having this kind of education will not help the situation.

People not knowing what the use of this education is and what are the applications of their fields, is this worth?
Education is the key to solve all the problems we are facing. Terrorism is growing because of the illiteracy. Economy is at its worse condition because of the terrorism and corruption. Corruption can be eradicated by accountability; accountability comes when people know what’s right and what is wrong. And that sense of thinking comes with the quality education. Justice system can flourish when people know their own rights and how to protect them. Ideas come from anything, but for that you must have a thinking capability.

Having a good educational background gives the confidence and helps in maintaining or developing a vision. It develops the sense to understand the rights of the people and even the animals!
Studying just for “degree” or a “job” is not worth studying. Giving the best education to the people can bring a change. Education opens the doors of the opportunities and it also structures the mind. Every successful person has a vision and that comes from thinking capability.

To build a strong education system in Pakistan is hard but not impossible. And once it’s done the nation will rise in a true sense.

The Media Thing

In the current situation of Pakistan, where the clashes between the three main institutions is on its peak, media has some role, as always been. Dragging from the real issues that is and was always the mission or somehow the duty of the corrupt political system and the politicians. Judiciary is free after a long era in Pakistan, writing it “so called free” because the issues of the lower and the middle class has not been addressed yet in our country. The second institution; Army is fighting against the terrorism and the soldiers are at the borders defending the countrymen. The top heads of the Army are busy with the government by somehow threatening the govt. for the takeover. Situation worsens when the most important part, the Government is busy at sides with the judiciary and the army. PM’s confused statements about the Army Chief and the Director General ISI intensifies the situation and country was in total chaos a few days later.
The media is covering all the aspects, as it is their job. In awakening the people of Pakistan and giving them news from all around the globe is the positive aspect of the media. Media is getting matured to some extent but there’s always the room at the top and always improvement is needed. Situation with media is also not clear, about 85% of the channels and the anchors do the same programs like what will happen and what’s going on in the country right now? Politicians every night and day comes on media and in talk shows repeating the same thing about the memo gate issue and the clashes with the army, or the blames of the opposition and opposition persons discuss the “non issues”. Blaming each other is now the part of these talk shows and the current affair programs. Hardly a positive result comes out of these shows, except for blaming and repeating the past events like the people are just dumb asses.
Are these questions and topics relevant regarding to the lay men? Just a waste of the time it is! Why not media focus on thing that matter the most? Why not to talk about the education, health, communication, agriculture, etc and why just blaming and blaming all the time?
Just bring change in your talk shows too!
