Kidnappers Classic

They were sitting at a cafe. He smiled at her but she was tetchy at the moment because he was late as always and she told him to stop looking other girls desperately. He laughed and said "I am just looking outside, everything is same but it's beautiful, just because of you"

She smiled.  "It's a year now, we are meeting after this long time" She added. As she moved to another State for her studies.

The waiter came with the food they ordered. They started eating food. She asked him to pass the ketchup bottle but he grabbed it firmly. They were now grappling the bottle. They boy laughed. Peopled started looking at them, she tries to be decent now.

The girl looked outside "Look there is some girl calling you" she said. The guy looked outside, taking a chance she grabs the bottle and giggle. Now the boy understands why she said about a girl outside.

After having a chat over the food. They left the cafe. "Lets go somewhere to watch a movie" She said to him. "Yeah, lets go then", he said. Walking on the path he asked her do you still love me or you find another guy there, he teased her. She turned to him with her sparkling eyes and said "are you crazy? I still do." As they were walking, three guys came, telling them to give them everything they possess. One robber pulled the gun at her and puts blinders on her eyes, telling her to stop screaming. The three muggers were taking them to some place. Laughing and saying they are now dead. The guy said we gave you everything we had, let us go.

After a while they stopped walking telling the girl and boy to stop and stand there. As the kidnappers removed the blinders from the girl's eye, she was astonished to see the place. It was a park decorated with different flowers. Standing next to her were her close friends, smiling at her, and they guy was sitting on her knees with the ring in his hand.

She understands what it was all about. "Will you marry me, now as I kidnapped you" he said and smiled.
"I am all yours and I am going to marry you as soon as your friends release me." She said looking at the kidnappers who actually were the friends of the guy.

Twilight at the river

"Sure you don't want to do any thing?" He asked her in a romantic way with the giggly smile on his face. "Yeah just here being with you is enough for me" she said while looking at the river.

They were enjoying the peace and the beautiful weather at the river bank. The ripples of the river were adding more beauty to the scene and the sunset turned the blue sky into orange making it a perfect twilight.
He was sitting close by her, looking towards the river and sensing something.

"Why are you so quiet today? You didn't like it here? Shall we go back?" He asked her.

"I am enjoying the peace here, that's why I am quiet." She replied and holds his hand.
They were sitting quietly now, enjoying the tranquillity and the calmness.

After some time she started weeping, he asked her what happened? He knew it from the start there is something going on with her. She puts her head on his shoulder and told him that she is missing their son.
"He had to go. We enjoyed the time we had with him" giving her some comfort.
"Yeah I guess!" She sighed.

They lost their son two years back due to cancer. He was just 21 years old. Now she was missing her because three years back they came by this river bank with their son for the first time as he wished to see the sunset at this river bank with his parents. They stayed there for a night and enjoyed their family time. After that they went to the doctor for his check-up. There they knew about his cancer.

"Remember the one thing he said while he was here?" She said
"Yeah that joke he cracked about my nose." He replied with a laugh.
"Well that wasn't in my mind" she laughed.
"Sweetheart I remember what he said that day"

"Its very hard to surrender yourself in front of someone, for someone else's happiness. This actually is love and this is what God wants from us. To surrender ourselves infront of Him. To love the world for which he has sent us to the Earth. To love the world so we can seek God's love, affection and blessings. And now i want to you to know that I love you mom and dad." He remembered his every word.
They were now both smiling with the tears in the eyes.
"Its now cold here. Lets go back." He got up and said to his wife.

Nelson Mandela - Leader of Humanity

Many claim to be leaders of the world, i differ. In this era there was only one man who can claim to be the the true leader of the whole world. Yes it is Nelson Mandela.

"Struggle, struggle and hope" is what comes to mind when we think of this name.

His name was "Rolihlahla" meaning "troublemaker". After that he was given the name of Nelson by his school teacher. He was also known as Madiba as per his clan name.

There are many great things about him, he fought for the black who were suppressed but when he was freed and came to power, he said there will be no revenge from the white. The consistency he had, was great, 27 years in jail but he never loose hope.

"For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others." ~ Nelson Mandela

Those who think there are shortcuts for any big achievement, now see his life as a continuous struggle. He struggled for his whole life and then came out as a genuine leader.

There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires. ~ Nelson Mandela

While watching the TV today, Tony Blair said he once met Nelson Mandela, he shook hands with each and everyone in the room from The Primer to the tea maker. The interviewer said he was very bold in saying that what he feels is wrong. Then Tony Blair said Yeah in the Iraq war he expressed his concerns.

His struggle was against racism. He once said "I detest racialism, because I regard it as a barbaric thing, whether it comes from a black man or a white man."

Mandela's cause was humanity. Brought back his divided nation as the one. He is the mentor of the world.
Today we just loose the "Leader of Humanity"

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." ~ Nelson Mandela

The Cold Night

A rainy day it was and he didn’t feel like going outside. He liked rain but now he was not in the mood to go out and enjoy the beauty of the rain. As the rain stopped and clouds disappeared, he got up from his bed, wore his cardigan on a tee he was wearing.

He looked outside the window, lights of the city and stars were now bright and clear because of the rain wiping out all the dust from the sky. The rain drops on his studio apartment’s window glass were adding more beauty to the scene.

He went up to the rooftop of the building he was living in, watching the constellation in the night sky. It still was very cold out there. The wind blew and he felt like freezing. Something from that gust of wind attracted him. He was now enjoying the chilly evening.

After a few minutes he went downstairs into his apartment, took a bath, shaved his beard, put on the other tee and a warm over coat over the chinos with  his new pair of shoes. Put perfume and some more perfume.
He locked his room and went outside in the hallway of the building. Surprisingly he passes from the elevator and took stairs. He never did this before as he always used the elevator. Outside the building, he was now walking towards the coffee shop he liked the most, gazing here and there with the smile on his face, as he was enjoying the moment and the chilly night.

He entered the coffee shop, it was warm inside and the aroma of the coffee was appetizing. He grabbed a cup of coffee and left the counter. As he was going outside a man bumped into him, coffee spilled. As the man knew him, he was now waiting to be beaten up by him. But he smiled at him and left the coffee shop. The owner of the coffee house knew him and was surprised because he never let anybody go like this. He almost killed a guy two months before, as that guy did the same mistake like that.

Started his wandering again in the cold night on the path and now was enjoying his leftover coffee. He was so much changed now. He locked himself from a week in his apartment. He went to shock as his friend died in an accident a week ago. His friend’s last words had so much impact on him.
“This world runs on love, the life we spent is not worth living. I just realised it but I missed the boat. You can always change yourself before it’s too late. Find your love, it’s your peace. ”

He now knew that behind everything there is love. Some have love for money, some for lust and also, love for spirituality, love for family and many things. Even behind a war there is love, love for country, love for religion and most of the times it’s love for power. He was now searching the peace, humanity and tolerance.
He made it to the hill top and now was sitting and enjoying the city lights in a cold night.

Tahir ul Qadri Whats Next?

Watching the current scenario when there is long march going on in the country after the Balochistan crisis. The government must be thinking what to do and how to handle this mass, going all against them.
I watched some of the media reporters talking to the crowd, people don't even know what will be the next step, until they are given some instructions by their leader and what should be the next step what he says they will do. For me its very alarming that how can a person come without any plan but a "hidden agenda" in his mind and not telling his followers. Its just the one man show, if you want to be a part of democracy or to bring the real democracy then you should start it from yourself. As there is a lot of ambiguity in the overall demands. If for some time we leave it too, in my opinion when you have the people's power (as he says) you should not only tell us our problems but also give some solutions. Solutions are not even the part of his speeches but just demanding the "unconstitutional" things sitting in the bullet proof bunker "ready to die first".
Leave everything, what are the solutions to these problems? Whats Next? Nobody knows.

Simplicity at its best - Beauty of Kashmir

Watching something on TV/Internet or listening from someone can’t be compared to what you have experience. My experience of travelling to Sharda was full of fun, but I was amused to see the simplicity there. I love interacting with the people of different cultures and traditions. Travelling is always fun but when you are doing it with friends, it’s the best part! This experience also gives more energy to me to travel and watch the world’s different perspective apart from the media’s eye.

Sharda is very beautiful place. People here are very simple and they brought more beauty to the place they live in. Sharda is at LOC (Line of Control- border between Pakistan and India). At LOC your patriotism really increases. Watching the flag of Pakistan and the posts of army is amazing here and it brings a different view of the armed forces. They are defending us day and night at the borders. Salute to the Pakistani armed forces.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city is very soothing. Houses here are all made of wood. They add extreme beauty to the place.

Children waving you from the road side and welcoming you, it is actually their hospitality and is good. When taking photographs the smiling faces of the children was a good experience. It feels like the life here is moving too slow as compared to the big cities because of no development here, but still the people here are using the latest energy technology that is the solar energy.

In the picture, children playing at the river side. Outside the educational institute at Dodoudnial children were playing cricket.
When returning back to Keran Valley an old man waved to the bus in which we were travelling so the driver stopped the bus and we gave him the ride. I interviewed him. His name was Haji Wali-ur-Rehman. He got his education from Kakul, Abbottabd (it is my home town too). I took his picture and promised him that I will publish it in my blog.

The most astonishing thing for me was watching Edhi ambulance at this much backward area. Edhi Foundation is a non-profit social welfare program in Pakistan founded by Abdul Sattar Edhi. Edhi organization is the largest voluntary ambulance organization of the world as per Guinness World Record Book. Hats off to the great personality Abdul Sattar Edhi for serving the humanity.

Returning back to home at the last day form Keran a bunch of people were protesting for their rights. My friends took their pictures and they thought that my friends are from Press/Media. So here are some of their photos took by Azam Khan. Empowering people gives them the confidence to work more efficiently for the nation. I wish the people protesting for their rights, get what they want.

Kashmir is really beautiful but one thing I noticed that there were a few tourist rest houses but still satisfied as there is a tourist motel in Keran and also in Sharda. Need more development there for more tourism. Tourism will develop the area but for that the government should take initiative.
Travelling to Kashmir was unforgettable and simplicity was stunning.
